Michael Djupstrom, Walimai

As a pianist, Djupstrom has performed across the United States and abroad in France, China, and Japan.  He is particularly interested in chamber music and was a founding member of the Phoenix Trio, an ensemble with which he presented regular concert tours throughout the Northeast during 2005-2008.  Djupstrom holds degrees from the University of Michigan, where his piano teachers included Katherine Collier, Sergio de los Cobos, and Lynne Bartholomew.  He is a member of the piano faculty at Settlement Music School in Philadelphia.
